What we call endodontics, you may know as a root canal, and you’ve likely heard about their negative reputation. However, a root canal is necessary when the pulp of the tooth becomes infected, as it can abscess and cause intense pain. We’ll keep you comfortable throughout the entire process, and we’ll eliminate discomfort from the infected tooth. If the tooth can be saved, we’d recommend endodontic therapy as an alternative to extraction, and may also suggest additional support for the tooth from a dental crown.
